The Maricopa Association of Governments Transportation improvement
was developed pursuant to federal guidance and requirements of Title 23
Title 49 - Chapter 53, of the US Code and implements the MAG Regional
It serves as a five-year guide for the preservation, management and expansion of public transportation services across Maricopa County and portions of Pinal County. Public transportation services include highways, arterial streets, transit, demand management, and alternative mode improvements. The TIP includes a five-year capital improvement program of transportation projects for the region, a financial plan for funding capital, summary on operating and maintenance needs, and a report on the status of major projects.
